As you can observe from reading about the 2009 Legislative work, this is the most active legislative season FAMFT has experienced perhaps since gaining licensure. The Board wishes to express appreciation to our Lobbyist, Melinda Pillar, for her dedication and responsible representation of MFTS in Florida!
Also, many of our members responded when the call to action came which was essential to our success. You contacted your local representatives to seek inclusion on our behalf. Many doors were opened as a result for us to expand our work opportunities as mental health professionals in Florida.
Our PAC funds, Florida Family TEAM, have been exhausted. Can you contribute a donation equal to one hour of your time. We need to contribute to many of the government representatives who are campaigning and have supported MFTS and FAMFT.
